Terms of Service
1) Eligibility and acceptance
OmegleWeb is an adults-only (`18+`) real-time chat service for text and video conversations. By accessing or using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 and that you accept these Terms.
2) Rules (what you may not do)
- Do not share or request nudity or sexual content, or sexually harass anyone.
- Do not exploit or endanger minors in any way.
- Do not post or request illegal content, threats, or encouragement of wrongdoing.
- Do not share personal information (yours or someone else’s) such as address, phone, passwords, or private accounts.
- Do not defame, dox, stalk, or target individuals or groups.
- Do not spam, scam, or attempt to phish users.
- Do not use automation/bots to start chats or interfere with the service.
- Do not attempt to bypass bans or other safety controls.
- Do not infringe intellectual property rights.
3) Monitoring, moderation, and evidence preservation
To operate and protect the service, we may log chats, uploads, reports, device/network identifiers, session metadata, and moderation records. In video mode, we may also capture periodic safety screenshots and related moderation evidence. We may use automated systems and human review for abuse detection, moderation, investigations, and enforcement.
4) Safety enforcement and child protection
We may warn, restrict, rate-limit, suspend, or ban users at any time, with or without notice, to protect users and the service. If conduct appears to involve a minor, child sexual exploitation, grooming, enticement, trafficking, threats, or similar harm, we may preserve relevant records and disclose information as required or permitted by law, including to NCMEC’s CyberTipline and law enforcement.
5) Your responsibility
Users are responsible for their own behavior and content. Do not use OmegleWeb for confidential, privileged, unlawful, or safety-critical communications. You should not assume the service is anonymous, unlogged, immune from moderation review, or suitable for emergency communications.
6) Privacy and third-party services
Your use of OmegleWeb is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Public pages may use third-party analytics, advertising, hosting, storage, or payment providers. Those providers may process information as described in the Privacy Policy and their own terms.
7) Disclaimers + limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmegleWeb is provided without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmegleWeb and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
